Seattle, Washington
A healthcare facility in Seattle, Washington is seeking a Hematology Physician for locum coverage.
Position Details
Compensation:
Orientation $300hr and regular hour $560hr
Specialty: Hematology
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Coverage Type: Full-time scheduled coverage
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Duration: 6–12 months
No call required
Reason for Coverage: Provider vacancy
Clinical Responsibilities
Benign and malignant hematology patient care
No solid tumor oncology coverage required
Approximate case mix:
60% benign hematology
40% malignant hematology
Patient Volume
Average patient volume: 20–23 patients per day
Practice Environment
Outpatient hematology practice
EMR: Epic
Support staff includes:
Medical Assistants
Registered Nurses
Scheduler
Requirements
Board Certified in Hematology – Required
Fellowship trained – Required
Washington license or IMLC LOQ – Required
BLS certification – Required
ACLS certification – Preferred
DEA highly preferred and required by start date
Clean background and malpractice history required
NPDB Self-Query report required within 30 days of presentation

Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
