Location: St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
Compensation: $500,000 Base | $750,000–$800,000+ Year 2 Potential

At She Recruits, we are representing an exceptional Hematology/Oncology opportunity in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. This position has been created due to growth and a strategic transition from rotational coverage to a dedicated, full-time physician model.
This is a rare opportunity to practice in a brand-new cancer center in a Caribbean setting while earning at a highly competitive mainland compensation structure.
Position Overview
Full-time Hematology/Oncology physician
Primarily outpatient practice
Minimal hospital involvement
No formal call responsibilities
Dedicated provider model (not rotational coverage)
This role offers both clinical autonomy and strong infrastructure support within a growing oncology program.
Compensation Structure
Base Salary: Approximately $500,000
Year 2+ Earnings Potential: $750,000–$800,000+
Significant productivity-based bonus structure
Profit-sharing opportunity
Partnership track available
Sign-on and relocation package (~$25,000, flexible)
This model is designed for physicians who want both strong immediate earnings and long-term equity growth potential.
Schedule & Work Structure
Clinic: Monday–Wednesday (St. Thomas location)
Infusion / Administrative Days: Thursday–Friday
Hours: Approximately 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Patient Volume: ~20–25 per day
Flexible scheduling options available, including alternative rotations
This structure allows for focused clinical time and operational efficiency within the infusion center.
Clinical Scope
Approximately 70% Oncology / 30% Hematology
Common cases include:
Breast cancer
Prostate cancer
Melanoma
New consults and established patient follow-ups
Chemotherapy management
Infusion oversight
Bone marrow biopsies (required competency)
The role offers comprehensive oncology practice within a manageable patient volume model.

Brand-new cancer center
Full infusion center onsite
Radiation oncology supported by affiliated hospital
In-house laboratory services
Imaging services onsite
The facility is modern, purpose-built, and designed to support high-quality oncology care delivery.
Support Staff
Lead Oncology RN / Manager
Additional RN and MA clinical support
Front desk and administrative team
One dedicated APP per site
One rotating support APP
The infrastructure allows the physician to focus on patient care rather than administrative burden.
Qualifications
Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (Required)
Clear and active medical license (Required)
Active DEA registration (Required)
Proficiency in bone marrow biopsy procedures (Required)
Must be a practicing physician (early career physicians considered; no residents)
