Job description
- Specialty: Hematology / Oncology
- Practice Setting: Outpatient (Clinic + Infusion)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Coverage: Initial dates (Apr 27 – May 1) + 1 week/month ongoing
- Patient Volume: ~16 clinic + ~30 infusion patients/day
- Case Mix: 50% Hematology / 50% Oncology
- Call: Not required (optional weekend coverage available)
- EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic – Beacon) 💻
- Team Support: Hem/Onc MD, NP, and Radiation Oncologists 🤝
Job Responsibilities
Manage hematology and oncology patients in outpatient setting
Oversee infusion treatments and patient care
Develop and adjust treatment plans
Review diagnostics and clinical data for decision-making
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team 🤝
Maintain accurate EMR documentation 💻
Qualifications
Active North Dakota license (or IMLC eligible)
DEA required (easily transferable)
Experience in outpatient Hem/Onc setting preferred
Working Hours
8-hour day shifts
1 week per month ongoing coverage
No mandatory call
Skills
Outpatient clinic and infusion care experience
Ability to interpret labs, imaging, and oncology diagnostics
Treatment planning for mixed Hem/Onc cases
EMR proficiency (Cerner / Epic preferred) 💻
Strong communication and teamwork skills 🤝
