📍 Job Overview
- Specialty: Hematology / Oncology
- Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic + infusion services
- Patient Volume: ~16 clinic patients + ~30 infusion patients daily
- Case Mix: 50% Hematology / 50% Oncology
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (Full-time coverage)
- Call: Not required (optional weekend coverage may be available)
- EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic – Beacon in Oct 2026) 💻
- Team Support: On-site Hem/Onc physician, APP, and Radiation Oncologists
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage hematology and oncology patients in outpatient setting
Supervise and oversee infusion-related patient care
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
Review labs, imaging, and diagnostic results for clinical decision-making
Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology care team 🤝
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR 💻
Provide continuity of care across clinic and infusion services
Qualifications
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
Active U.S. medical license or eligible for licensure in North Dakota
Experience in outpatient oncology practice preferred
Strong clinical judgment in managing mixed Hem/Onc cases
Ability to work full-time weekday schedule
Good communication and team collaboration skills 🤝
Working Hours
8-hour day shifts
Full-time coverage required
No call requirement (optional weekend coverage may be available)
Skills
Outpatient clinic and infusion center workflow experience
Ability to interpret labs, imaging, and oncology diagnostics
Treatment planning for mixed Hem/Onc cases
EMR proficiency (Cerner / Epic transition experience preferred) 💻
Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork 🤝
Patient counseling and care coordination skills
