## Hematologist / Oncologist opening | Anderson, SC 2 hours from Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC ## Job Description * Status: Full-time, Permanent * Seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist * Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (32 minimum patient contact hours) * Scope: Outpatient clinic and limited hospital rounds; practice is currently in a rebuilding phase. * Call: Cover practice call and inpatient for Oncology patients (No weekends). * Volume: 15–25 patients per day; approximately 1,200 new cancer cases per year. * Start Date: ASAP ## Facility Highlights * Accreditation: Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984. * Designation: Trauma Level 2. * Services: State-of-the-art center with on-site Radiation Oncology, 24-bay infusion department with on-site pharmacist, and laboratory services. * Technology: Epic EMR. * Research: Access to nationwide clinical trials ## Compensation & Benefits * Salary Range: $500,000 – $750,000 annually (Depending on experience) * Incentives: Relocation assistance and Recruitment Incentive Loan. * Insurance: Health (HSA/HRA options), Dental (100% preventive coverage), Vision ($200 allowance), and Pet Insurance. * Protection: Fully covered Short/Long-term Disability and Term Life/AD&D. * Retirement: Generous employer contributions, matching funds, and supplemental plans. * Time Off: Generous PTO for vacation, holidays, and sick time. * Wellness: On-campus walking track, gym discounts, and Employee Health Clinic. ## Requirements * Certification: BC in Hematology/Oncology is Highly Preferred. Candidates must be truly Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified. (Lapsed certifications not accepted). * Education: Completed Fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology. * Licensure: Active SC License (or willing to obtain). * Documentation: must provide recent NPDB Self-Query Report (active within 30 days). * Credentials: Must obtain DEA and CSR/CDS prior to start date. * Visa Status: Open to H1B and J1 candidates (must specify if support is required).
