Medicus is collaborating with a cancer center in southern Virginia that has an opening for a Hematologist Oncologist to assist their team with locum tenens coverage.
Opening Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
- Light call requirement
- Setting: Outpatient
- Patient Volume: 15+ per day
- 1 round of consults in the morning and 1 round in the afternoon
- Case Mix: 60-70% hematology, 30-40% medical oncology
- Support Staff: Additional physicians, RNs, social worker, etc.
- EMR: Meditech and Aria
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, visit local farms or roadside stands, enjoy classic Southern home-style cooking at family-owned spots, and go wildlife watching in wooded areas.
