• We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Chambersburg, PA, with coverage extending to Waynesboro Hospital.
• Join a collaborative team of 3–4 providers in a well-supported cancer program accredited by the American College of Surgeons.
• This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity with flexibility (minimum 3 days/week accepted).
• The role includes a mix of outpatient clinic care and light inpatient consult responsibilities.
• Work in a modern environment with access to infusion services, multidisciplinary care, and tumor board participation.

Job Responsibilities
• Manage an average of 15 patients per day (mix of new consults and follow-ups)
• Conduct new oncology and hematology consultations and treatment planning
• Oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG, IV iron, and related treatments
• Provide inpatient and ER consults as needed (1–2 hours/day typical)
• Participate in call rotation (1 week/month, light volume)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including navigators and specialists
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR and Nuance dictation system
Qualifications
• Fellowship Trained (Required)
• Active Pennsylvania License or willingness to obtain (IMLC accepted)
• Valid DEA License
• Experience in oncology and hematology care (all levels considered)
• Strong clinical and collaborative skills
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Full-time preferred (minimum 3 days/week accepted)
• Call: 1 week per month (includes nights and weekends, low volume 0–2 calls/day)
• Start Date: June 22, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
• Contract through March 31, 2027
Skills
• Experience with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and infusion treatments
• Strong diagnostic and patient management skills
• Ability to balance clinic and consult responsibilities
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
