Job description
• We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology & Oncology Physician for a 17-week locum assignment.
• This is an outpatient-focused role with a balanced mix of oncology and hematology cases (50/50).
• Opportunity for ongoing coverage with a supportive and well-established oncology team.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage clinic patients and oversee infusion therapies
• Handle an average daily volume of 16 clinic patients and 30 infusion cases
• Collaborate with on-site oncology team including physicians and advanced practice providers
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment plans
Qualifications
• Active North Dakota Medical License required (IMLC providers accepted)
• DEA license required (easily transferable)
• Strong outpatient oncology and hematology experience preferred
Working Hours
• 8-hour day shifts (AM)
• 5 x 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
• 30-minute meal break
• Additional coverage: 1 week per month ongoing
• No required call (optional weekend coverage available)
Skills
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
• Ability to manage infusion therapies and outpatient workflows
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR (transitioning to Epic/Beacon)
