We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Attending Physician for a locums opportunity at Elmhurst Hospital, NY. This is a flexible, no-call position offering a balanced outpatient-focused schedule with a mix of oncology and hematology cases. The provider will work in a well-supported environment with access to a dedicated infusion center, delivering high-quality cancer care to a diverse patient population.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage cancer and blood disorders
Develop and implement treatment plans including chemotherapy and infusion therapies
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical standards
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience required
Active New York medical license required
Must not be currently employed by PAGNY, SUNY, Mount Sinai, or NYU
Strong clinical and patient management skills
Working Hours
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No on-call responsibilities
10–12 patients per shift
Skills
