Job description
The Hematology/Oncology Physician will provide primarily outpatient care in a growing cancer program, managing a range of oncology and hematology cases. The role includes administering advanced therapies and occasional inpatient consults, supported by a collaborative clinical team.
Job Responsibilities
• Administer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted and hormone therapies
• Provide outpatient clinic care with occasional inpatient consults
• Collaborate with NP and clinical staff for patient management
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC (AI-supported charting available)
Qualifications
• Active New York license required
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• EPIC experience required
• Clean malpractice history preferred
Working Hours
• 1-hour lunch break
• Assignment length: 6–9 months
• Minimal inpatient coverage as needed
Skills
• Expertise in chemotherapy and advanced cancer treatments
• Ability to work in a growing and adaptable program
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
