Job description
Location: Northern California (Inquire for specific hospital location)
Duration: May 2026 – December 2026 (Option to extend)
Reason for coverage: Growing practice in need of additional physician.
Schedule: Full-time (open to 3-5 day work week, focused 4 weeks per month)
>if provider works 4 days, the fifth day will be admin time
Shift: M-F, 8a-5p
Call: 1:4 rotating, 1 week day + 1 weekend
Average 7-14 calls for the whole week. It is mostly critical labs, patient calls, and ER consults/calls. For a couple of patients, they will have to go in.
Patient volume: 14-16 patients/day; 30 minutes for follow-up, 60 minutes for new and for procedures
Scope: Clinic 100% outpatient, 25% HEM/75% ONC
EMR: Epic & Cerner
Group/support:2 other MD/DO oncologists & Nurse Practitioners
Additional Nursing staff.
Requirements: Board certified (if board eligible must be recently trained). California license, must have experience and comfortable with hematology, clean NPDB ideally.
