We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a 6–9 month locum assignment in Potsdam, NY. This is a no-call opportunity offering a consistent weekday schedule in a growing oncology program.
The role is primarily outpatient-focused with occasional inpatient consults, providing a balanced and stable work environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage 18–20 patients per day
• Administer and oversee treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy
• Handle occasional inpatient consults as needed
• Collaborate with MD, NP, and clinical support staff
• Utilize Epic EMR with AI-assisted charting
Qualifications
• Active New York license required (in hand)
• Minimum 5 years of experience preferred
• Epic experience required
• Strong adaptability to work in a growing program
Working Hours
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Lunch: 1-hour blocked
• Call: None
