β’ We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a high-paying locums opportunity in Chambersburg, PA, with coverage also at Waynesboro Hospital.
β’ Join a collaborative team of 3β4 providers in a well-supported cancer program accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
β’ This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic work and light inpatient consult responsibilities, with strong support staff and infusion services available.
β’ Long-term assignment approved through March 2027 with flexible scheduling (minimum 3 days/week).

Job Responsibilities
β’ Manage an average of 15 patients per day (mix of new consults and follow-ups).
β’ Conduct inpatient and ER consultations as needed (1β2 hours/day).
β’ Diagnose and treat common cancers (lung, breast, prostate, colorectal) and hematologic conditions.
β’ Oversee treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG, and IV iron.
β’ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiation oncology and tumor boards.
β’ Supervise clinic operations during designated sessions for urgent patient needs.
β’ Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and Nuance dictation systems.
Qualifications
β’ Board Certified in Hematology and/or Oncology (double board preferred).
β’ Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology (required).
β’ Active Pennsylvania License preferred (IMLC accepted).
β’ DEA certification required.
β’ Experience in both hematology and oncology cases preferred.
Working Hours
β’ Full-time ongoing (minimum 3 days/week accepted)
β’ Call: 1 week per month (includes nights & weekends)
β’ Call Type: Inpatient + phone consults (0β2 calls/day)
β’ Contract through March 31, 2027
