Job description
We are seeking a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage in Lapeer, MI. This role is intended to cover a recruitment gap and involves working in a satellite clinic with full oncology support staff.
-Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; 08:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
-Location: Lapeer, MI (Satellite of McLaren Oakland).
-Team: Support includes Oncology RNs, Medical Assistants, Social Worker, Dietitian, and Nurse Navigator.
-Charting: Cerner EMR.
-
Orientation: Paid at 1/2 the hourly rate.

Expenses: Travel covered
Job Responsibilities
-Manage an average of 15–20 clinic patients per day.
-Participate in tumor boards.
-Provide clinic call as needed (Optional night and 24hr weekend call available).
Qualifications
-Licensure: Active Michigan License [REQUIRED] (IMLC is not accepted).
-Certifications: BLS and ACLS [REQUIRED].
-Credentialing: NPDB Self-Query required at presentation (pulled within 30 days).
-Experience: Familiarity with Cerner EMR [PREFERRED].
Working Hours
-On-Call: Clinic call only (Night and Weekend call is optional).
-Availability: Part-time (M/W/F).
Skills
-Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary support team including Nurse Navigators and Dietitians.
