Facility:
This healthcare facility is part of a large, well-established health system that provides comprehensive cancer care services to the region. The medical oncology and hematology department utilizes EPIC EMR and maintains strong patient volumes, offering excellent opportunities for professional growth and community impact.
Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
• Locum-to-permanent opportunity with ongoing coverage needs
• 100% adult patient population with 95% clinic and 5% hospital coverage
• Practice mix: 70% Oncology and 30% Hematology
• Average patient census of 22 per day with 2-3 new consultations
• EPIC EMR system in use
• Call schedule: 2 nights per week from 5p-8a
• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend Friday 5p through Monday 8a
• Must be Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Hematology/Oncology Fellowship required
• Kentucky State License highly preferred
• COVID vaccination required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Experience with outpatient/inpatient Hematology/Oncology required
• Intrathecal chemotherapy experience required
• Intracavitary chemotherapy experience highly preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
