Facility:
This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive medical network providing specialized oncology and hematology services to the community. The medical center features a well-established oncology program with modern facilities and EPIC EMR system for streamlined patient care.
Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive hematology-oncology services for 100% adult patient population
• Practice split: 95% clinic-based care and 5% hospital coverage
• Case mix: 70% oncology and 30% hematology
• Average daily patient census of 22 patients with 2-3 new consultations
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination
• Perform intrathecal chemotherapy administration (required)
• Intracavitary chemotherapy experience highly preferred
• Board certification in Hematology/Oncology required
• Completed Hematology/Oncology Fellowship required
• Kentucky state license highly preferred
• COVID vaccination required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient hematology/oncology required
• Call schedule: 2 nights per week (5 PM - 8 AM)
• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend Friday 5 PM - Monday 8 AM
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
