CAVHS and Arkansas
The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System "CAVHS" in Little Rock, AR is seeking a full-time HemOnc Physician. We are among the largest VA health care facilities in the nation with robust interdisciplinary care teams ready to help you help us help our Nation's heroes! Little Rock is the capital city of Arkansas, also known as The Natural State. It is a beautiful and wonderful place to live.
Job Responsibilities
* 4-5 days per week in clinic
* 1/4 HemOnc inpatient consult rounds
* 1/4 Night and Weekend Call (with Hospitalist, Residents, and Fellow support).
* No pressure or competing against your partners for production wRVU's and case quantities.
Teaching and Mentoring:
* Internal Medicine Residents
* HemOnc Fellows
* Participating in Grand Rounds and other ACGME activities.
Qualifications
* You must have an active state license in any state of the USA.
* You must never have had any of your state licenses suspended or revoked, for any reason.
* You must not have been discharged by a previous employer for quality of care issues.
* If you completed a foreign medical education, you must provide a copy of your ECFMG certificate.
* If you completed a non-ACGME, or a foreign residency, you must have at least 5 years practice or fellowship experience in the field you are applying.
* You must provide 3 references, 2 of which are or were supervisory.
