A leading regional health system in Michigan is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician to join a nationally recognized Cancer Care Center. Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive base salary up to $675,000 plus performance-based incentives

• $50,000 sign-on bonus

• Relocation assistance up to $15,000

Schedule and Call

• Monday–Thursday outpatient clinic

• Friday half-day administrative time

• Shared weekend call rotation

Position Overview

The Hematology/Oncology physician will provide comprehensive care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role emphasizes collaboration, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care, supported by a team of experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive hematology and oncology care

• Diagnose and manage hematologic disorders and solid tumors

• Develop individualized treatment plans in a multidisciplinary environment

• Participate in shared call coverage

• Provide occasional outreach at satellite clinic locations

• Engage in tumor boards and case conferences

• Contribute to program growth and development

• Participate in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents

• Engage in clinical research opportunities

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology

• MD or DO from an accredited institution

• Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship

• Eligible for medical licensure in Michigan

• Strong commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Interest in teaching and/or research preferred
