Mercy Hospital Joplin – Joplin, MO (≈242 licensed beds) | Nearest Airport: Joplin Regional Airport (JLN), ~6 miles from the hospital
- Specialty: Internal Medicine – Hematology & Oncology
- Coverage Dates: ASAP – ongoing (possibly ~9 months)
- FTE Needed: 1 FTE (will consider 2 PT providers)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; 24-hour weekend call with ~1–2 night call encounters and ~15–23 daily clinic patient encounters
- Setting: Hospital inpatient and outpatient mixed practice
- Call: 24-hour weekend call; provider expected to respond within ~15 minutes when on call
- Patient Cases/Procedures: Bread-and-butter Hem/Onc consults, follow-ups, and medical oncology care; Blood & Marrow Transplants (BMT) and Bone Marrow Biopsies (BMB) preferred but not required
- Support Staff: Access to surgery, radiology, cardiology, emergency department consult support
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing Timeframe: 0–30 days
