Hematology/Oncology Opportunity Location: Cooperstown or Oneonta, NY • Position: Hematology/Oncology Physician (Outpatient-only role) • Team: Join a well-established team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians in a multispecialty practice with over 500 providers • Practice locations: Cooperstown or Oneonta • Call schedule: Shared remote call, 1:6 • Visa sponsorship: Available (J-1 and H-1B candidates encouraged to apply) Clinical & Practice Details: • Outpatient-only with dedicated inpatient oncologist support • Collaborative, multidisciplinary care model including on-site Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Pathologists, and Radiologists • Active weekly tumor board participation • Full spectrum of patient support services: Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Financial Counselors, Nutritionist, Palliative Care Practitioners • The regional cancer program maintains continuous accreditation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (Comprehensive Community Cancer Center) and American Society of Clinical Oncology Compensation & Incentives: • Base salary: $625,000 – $708,000 (based on a 4-day work week, dependent on experience, training, specialty, education, and market standards) • Performance-based incentive plan with no earnings cap (potential for additional income starting in year one) • Sign-on bonus up to $200,000 • Fellowship stipend up to $60,000 (available up to 18 months before graduation, contingent on U.S. immigration eligibility) • Supportive transition bonus Qualifications: • MD, DO, or MBBS • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Oncology • Current or eligible for New York State medical licensure • BLS certification and DEA registration required Comprehensive Benefits: • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Life and disability insurance • Paid malpractice coverage • Paid time off, including holidays and vacations • Retirement plan • CME time and financial support
