Job description
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Classical Hematologist to join our growing faculty within the Division of Cancer Medicine at our downtown Jacksonville campus.
The selected physician will focus on the care of patients with benign hematologic conditions and clonal hematologic disorders of uncertain significance while practicing in a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment. This position offers the opportunity to develop an active clinical practice while contributing to the clinical, research, and educational missions of Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center.
In 2018, Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center opened a 330,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility dedicated exclusively to hematology and oncology care. The center provides a patient-centered environment surrounded by healing art, with more than 800 paintings and sculptures displayed throughout the facility.

What You Will Need
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology
• Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology
• Active or eligible Florida medical license
• DEA license required
• Demonstrated commitment to multidisciplinary care
• Clinical research experience and prior educational activities preferred
