CareTeam Locums is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Saginaw, Michigan. This is a Monday–Friday outpatient-only role with no surgeries or procedures required — just focused, meaningful patient care at MyMichigan Medical Oncology & Hematology. Job Responsibilities
- Manage a panel of hematology and oncology patients (approximately 24+ patients in each specialty within a 12-month period)
- Provide after-hours phone call coverage for established patients (4:30 PM–8:00 AM weekdays and weekends — phone only, no in-person requirement)
- Document all encounters using EPIC with Dragon dictation support
- Collaborate with on-site Medical Assistants and clinical support staff
Qualifications
- Active Michigan medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification
- Active DEA registration
- Clean OIG and background check
- Minimum 24 documented hematology patients and 24 medical oncology patients within the past 12 months (case log requirement)
- No surgical or procedural requirements for this role
- EPIC experience preferred
Working Hours
After-hours phone call only (no in-person call): 4:30 PM–8:00 AM weekdays + weekends
Full-time, 40 hours/week | 4 weeks/month
