An expanding oncology service line in Plymouth is seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician for a long-term locum assignment beginning March 2026. This is a primarily outpatient role supporting infusion services across two campuses, offering steady volume and a structured weekday schedule.
The position includes infusion coverage (3 days at Mishawaka, 2 days at Plymouth) with evening call responsibilities. This opportunity provides balanced exposure to hematology and oncology (50/50 mix), strong nursing support, Tumor Board participation, and the ability to contribute to a growing cancer program.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care (adult & geriatric)
- Manage approximately 30 clinic patients per day
- Oversee infusion services across two campuses
- Perform bone marrow biopsies
- Manage VAD/CV catheters
- Participate in Tumor Board discussions
- Prescribe and supervise chemotherapy administration
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (ABMS or AOA)
- Active Indiana license or IMLC LOQ in hand
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated competency in both hematology and oncology
- Clean professional background
