Job Responsibilities
Clinic: Monday to Friday 8A - 5P
Call: 24 hr on-call coverage weekends
Duties: Primarily Hematology patients
Procedures: Consults, follow-ups - possible bone marrow
Call Type: beeper with some consultation.
Call Back: 1 - 4 consults per weekend
Admissions: patients admitted to hospitalist service
Hospital and/ Clinic: Clinic (Hospital on-call weekend only)
Hospital is home to the latest in cancer technology and treatments, including daVinci® robotic assisted surgery, Elekta Versa HD, the most advanced linear accelerator in the region offering IMRT stereotactic radiation treatment and 3D radiotherapy, PET/CT scans, prostate cancer treatment with SpaceOAR Hydrogel and the region’s only automated breast ultrasound (ABUS).
Qualifications
Active Missouri license or willing to obtain
ACLS, BLS, and ATLS
