An exclusive opening for a board-certified or board-eligible Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist is now available in Coos Bay, Oregon (97420). This permanent position offers the rare combination of cutting-edge oncology practice and unmatched coastal work-life balance.
Practice in a state-of-the-art outpatient cancer center featuring a modern infusion suite, onsite pharmacy mixing, radiation oncology, nurse navigation, and access to leading-edge clinical trials. Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient oncology and hematology care
- Manage 10β15 clinic patients per day
- Collaborate with infusion services and radiation oncology
- Participate in 1:4 shared call rotation (primarily critical lab calls)
- Develop individualized treatment plans and long-term care strategies
- Engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards and care coordination
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
- Active Oregon medical license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- DEA prior to start
- Clean malpractice and professional history
- Interest in collaborative, team-based oncology care
