A premier Locums Physician – Hematology/Oncology opportunity is available in Jefferson Hills (15025). This full-time malignant hematology position focuses on leukemia, lymphoma, and complex blood disorders within a collaborative oncology team environment.
Join a well-supported practice utilizing EPIC EMR, working alongside experienced MDs, APPs, RNs, and MAs. This role is ideal for a board-certified hematologist seeking a structured weekday schedule with minimal call burden and strong multidisciplinary support.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide care for leukemia, lymphoma, and malignant hematology cases
• Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Collaborate with oncology team members on complex cases
• Complete charting and documentation during scheduled clinic hours
• Participate in limited weeknight pager call (second-call support only)
• No bone marrow transplant patients and no procedural requirements
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Hematology – Required
• Active Pennsylvania medical license (strongly preferred)
• Pennsylvania DEA required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to meet hospital credentialing and background screening requirements
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• 1 FTE (40 hours per week)
• 5 PM – 8 AM weeknight pager call (no weekend call)
• Minimum commitment: 2 weeks per month
