Medical Group is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to join an established, high-performing cancer care team in Colorado Springs, CO. This role includes approximately 6 outreach clinic days per month serving rural communities in Lamar and Trinidad. The practice operates within a physician-led, academically anchored health system using EPIC EMR.
Job Responsibilities
• Participate in a flexible four-day work week model
• Deliver outreach services (~6 days/month) to Lamar, CO and Trinidad, CO
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (12 physicians, 8 APPs, nurse navigators, social workers)
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
• Participate in limited shared call rotation
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives
• Support patient-centered cancer care programs
• Contribute to clinical growth within an academically aligned system
Qualifications
• Colorado Medical License (must obtain prior to start) – REQUIRED
• DEA License (prior to start) – REQUIRED
• BLS Certification – REQUIRED
• Willingness to provide rural outreach (~6 days/month) – REQUIRED
• Not accepting Locums or Locums-to-Perm candidates
Working Hours
• Up to 6 outreach clinic days/month (Lamar & Trinidad – 2–3 hours travel)
• Limited shared call rotation
• Minimal weekend requirements
