Hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking 1 Locum Hematology/Medical Oncologist for high-priority April coverage. This role includes mostly inpatient coverage with some outpatient support due to physician relocation. Weekly Monday–Friday coverage is required.
Job Responsibilities
• Some outpatient coverage as needed
• Provide oversight/supervision of Nurse Practitioner
• Participate in call coverage
• Enroll and manage patients in research studies
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams
Qualifications
• Active Virginia (VA) Medical License – REQUIRED
• BLS Certification – REQUIRED
• Clean background – REQUIRED
• Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days) – REQUIRED at presentation
• NPDB report required during name clear
Working Hours
• Weekly coverage needed for April
• Call coverage required
