Hematologist/Oncologist | Beverly & Gloucester, MA North Shore — Close access to Boston & New England's mountains and seacoast ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent position * Practice Settings: Two locations — Beverly, MA and Gloucester, MA * Board Certified or Board Eligible — board certification must be completed within 5 years of residency graduation ## Practice Overview Seeking a BE/BC Medical Oncologist to join an accredited cancer program and become a member of a large health system with over 5,500 new analytic cancer cases annually: * Join system-wide multidisciplinary tumor boards including Breast, General Tumor Board, Thoracic, and Dermatology — including surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists * Case-by-case access to additional tumor boards through affiliated academic medical centers * Teams address clinical standardization, research agendas, quality metrics, and outcomes reporting * Comprehensive Cancer Program accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC) * Breast program accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) ## Research & Academic Opportunities * Vibrant clinical research program with ample collaboration opportunities * Main member of SWOG and NRG cooperative groups * Robust Translational Research Program and Clinical Effectiveness Research Institute * Academic appointment opportunity with Tufts University School of Medicine (commensurate with achievement) and UMass Chan School of Medicine outside of clinic time ## Compensation & Benefits * Base salary range: $400,000–$425,000 annually * Performance-based incentive compensation including productivity and quality bonuses * Comprehensive benefits package ## About the Facilities * 317-bed tertiary care facility and Level I Trauma Center — Beverly, MA * Physician-led, multidisciplinary group practice of 500+ physicians with accredited residency and fellowship programs * 79-bed acute medical facility in Gloucester, MA offering acute inpatient care, cancer care, cardiology, pulmonary, geriatric services, endocrinology, primary care, wound care, and emergency medicine * Part of a large integrated health system ## Required Qualifications * MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology * Board certification must be completed within 5 years of residency graduation * Massachusetts medical license or willingness to obtain ## About the Community – Beverly & Gloucester, Massachusetts * Located on the desirable North Shore of Massachusetts * Excellent school systems and abundant cultural activities * Convenient access to New England's mountains and seacoast * Close proximity to world-class Boston
