Hematology / Oncology Physician (J1 & H1B acceptable)

Near the Gulf Coast | Hospital-Employed | Inpatient & Outpatient

If you’re a Hematology/Oncology physician looking for a practice where collaboration is real, resources are strong, and life outside the hospital actually exists — this opportunity checks all the boxes.

A well-established, hospital-employed cancer program is expanding and seeking an additional Hematology/Oncology physician to join a collegial team serving a large regional referral area. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, excellent clinical support, and the chance to practice medicine the way it was meant to be practiced.

What the Practice Looks Like

  • Join a collaborative team of experienced Hem/Onc physicians

  • Monday–Friday clinic schedule (8:00am–4:30pm)

  • Shared call schedule (1:4)

  • Integrated cancer center with onsite infusion and radiation therapy

  • Multidisciplinary tumor boards and strong care coordination

  • Full clinical and administrative support so you can focus on patients

  • Outpatient chemotherapy administered onsite

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Competitive base salary with wRVU bonus potential

  • $100,000 sign-on bonus

  • Paid malpractice with tail coverage

  • Annual CME and professional expense allowance

  • Student loan repayment options (PSLF-eligible)

  • Comprehensive benefits package

  • Paid interview expenses

The Clinical Environment

You’ll practice in a modern, full-service medical center that serves as a regional hub for advanced care. The facility offers robust specialty support, advanced imaging, strong hospitalist coverage, and a well-developed cancer network extending across multiple locations. Academic involvement and teaching opportunities are available for those interested, but not required.

Who We’re Looking For

  • MD or DO

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology

  • Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology

  • Eligible for medical licensure

  • Collaborative, patient-focused, and team-oriented

  • New graduates are welcome

Life Outside the Clinic

This opportunity is located in a fast-growing, family-friendly community near the Gulf Coast, offering:

  • Easy access to beaches, outdoor recreation, and warm weather

  • A cost of living below the national average

  • Excellent dining, golf, trails, and year-round activities

  • A regional airport for convenient travel

  • A welcoming community that’s consistently recognized as a great place to live, work, and raise a family
