Call & Schedule Details
Shift flexibility is a key advantage of this role, especially for locum providers seeking better work-life balance.
- Call Rotation: Every other week
- Night Call: Monday-Thursday only
- Night Call Structure:
- Offsite
- Phone triage only
- Fewer than 5 calls per night
- Rounding:
- During call weeks, the provider rounds once daily (AM or PM)
- Weekend Call: None at this time
- Charting: Epic (Epic experience required)
Clinical Responsibilities
- Outpatient Hematology & Oncology clinic coverage
- Inpatient rounding during call weeks
- Admissions and consults during call weeks
- New patient evaluations and follow-ups
- Management of stable oncology patients
- Primary focus on oncology care
- Chemotherapy management
- Coordination with infusion center services

- Most recent vaccination records
