Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage a comprehensive range of cancer cases, with an emphasis on breast and gynecologic oncology.
- Deliver exemplary, evidence-based patient care within a cooperative team comprising three physicians and three advanced practice providers.
- Participate actively in tumor board discussions and collaborate with specialists at Anschutz Medical Center.
- Engage in clinical research initiatives, particularly in breast cancer, aiming to improve therapies and patient outcomes.
- Utilize the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for efficient patient management and documentation.
- Maintain a balanced work schedule, working a flexible four-day week with shared, minimal on-call duties among a group of 15 clinicians.
- Stay current with evolving treatments, emerging technologies, and clinical guidelines to ensure state-of-the-art patient care.
- Support visa candidates, fostering a diverse and inclusive team environment.
- Maintain compliance with UCHealth name clearance protocols system-wide.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
- Valid medical license in Colorado or the ability to obtain one.
- Demonstrated expertise in breast and gynecologic oncology preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and research.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $489,000 to $543,000, with potential bonuses based on quality metrics and productivity.
