West Virginia healthcare system is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join their team. As the state's largest health system and private employer, they are comprised of 18 hospitals and five institutes. Located just 90 minutes from Pittsburgh, this charming community features excellent public schools, a local regional airport and no shortage of outdoor recreational activities.
Successful candidates will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Center provides the entire continuum of cancer related services from prevention/early detection screening and education to surgery, medical and radiation oncology, inpatient and outpatient therapies, home care and hospice services. Cancer navigator program is the largest in North Central West Virginia, providing comprehensive and compassionate guidance to patients and their families throughout their cancer care and survivorship. Ranks available--assistant professor, associate professor, professor. Some outreach may be required.
