Job description Hematology/Oncology opening in Nebraska Hastings, NE Full time This comprehensive cancer program delivers advanced medical and radiation oncology services in a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a warm and supportive environment. The multidisciplinary team serves a broad regional population and emphasizes strong relationships with patients and their families, offering innovative cancer diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care throughout the continuum. The program is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join and complement an established oncology team. The position includes both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, with potential travel to outreach clinics as appropriate. The Medical Oncologist will participate in call coverage and can expect a five-day work week. The practice utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record system. Minimum Requirements * MD or DO degree * Active state medical license * Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology * Willingness to participate actively in medical staff governance and committee activities Practice and Facility Overview * Progressive, physician-led medical community with a diverse multispecialty staff * More than 100 physicians representing a wide range of specialties, including cardiology, pulmonology/critical care, nephrology, infectious disease, general surgery, internal medicine, family medicine, neurology, psychiatry, pediatrics, radiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, and urology * Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including: * Behavioral health inpatient unit * Medical intensive care unit * Inpatient rehabilitation services * Medical/surgical and progressive care (telemetry) units * Inpatient pediatric services * Obstetrical services with neonatal intensive care * Level III trauma services with emergency department coverage * Advanced surgical services and cardiac catheterization laboratory * Certified primary stroke center * Full diagnostic imaging and ancillary services Compensation and Benefits * Highly competitive compensation structure * Comprehensive and exceptional benefits package
