Eau Claire is a vibrant city in western Wisconsin known for its beautiful riverside setting, thriving arts scene, and excellent quality of life. The area offers abundant outdoor recreation opportunities with numerous parks, trails, and lakes while still providing the amenities of a mid-sized city.
Facility:
This is a well-established Cancer Center that provides comprehensive oncology services to the community. The center features 18 chemo infusion chairs and 2 non-chemo infusion chairs, with radiation oncology services on-site. The facility serves as a community-based center for hematology/oncology patients with bone marrow biopsies performed directly in the Cancer Center.
Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology
Job Details:
• Full-time coverage needed from late June through October
• Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm schedule
• 1:3-4 call rotation when a provider is off
• Work alongside 2 MDs and 3 NPs in the Cancer Center
• Consult with both ambulatory and hospital patients
• Average 15 patient encounters per shift
• Bone marrow biopsy skills preferred
• Provider must utilize "real time" Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS
• Board certification eligible (minimum)
• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
• 60-day estimated credentialing timeframe
• Level 3 trauma facility
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
