The facility features advanced treatment technologies and a collaborative team environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care through both treatment and research initiatives.
Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
• Primarily inpatient coverage with some outpatient responsibilities during physician vacation • Provide oversight of a Nurse Practitioner as part of the care team • Participate in enrolling patients in research studies • Handle on-call responsibilities as part of the coverage schedule • Treat adult patient population (12-15 patients per day in hospital setting) • Practice in clinical areas including inpatient oncology, outpatient oncology, and hematology • Work with EPIC electronic medical record system • Coverage needed January 19-30, 2026 due to physician relocation • Work collaboratively with the two other physicians in the practice • Must be board certified in Hematology/Oncology • Must maintain an active Virginia medical license with clean background • BLS certification required • Must be local - only mileage is reimbursed
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
