A leading hospital in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join its growing Oncology team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders
- Participate in tumor board conferences, care coordination meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in clinical documentation and treatment planning using the hospital's EMR system (EPIC)
- Collaborate with other specialists to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in clinical trials or academic research
- Provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and disease management
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Hematology and/or Oncology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of New York
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to serving a diverse patient population in a community-focused environment
Desired Skills:

- Prior experience in an Urban Hospital or Safety-Net setting
- Interest in Teaching, Mentoring, or Research
