A leading hospital in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join its growing Oncology team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders
  • Participate in tumor board conferences, care coordination meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Engage in clinical documentation and treatment planning using the hospital's EMR system (EPIC)
  • Collaborate with other specialists to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in clinical trials or academic research
  • Provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and disease management

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Hematology and/or Oncology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
  • Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of New York
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to serving a diverse patient population in a community-focused environment

Desired Skills:

  • Bilingual
  • Prior experience in an Urban Hospital or Safety-Net setting
  • Interest in Teaching, Mentoring, or Research
