Hematology/Oncology Physician Job – Tarboro, North Carolina
Licenses & Qualifications
- Board Eligible / Board Certified Hematology-Oncology — REQUIRED
- Join an established Hem/Onc practice within the region’s largest oncology provider
- Work alongside experienced nurses, navigators, and a nurse practitioner
- Setting: Outpatient-focused Hem/Onc care
- EMR: EPIC (system-wide)
- Hospital privileges included
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Shared regional call
- Develop treatment plans for new oncology/hematology diagnoses
- Chemotherapy oversight
- Supervise NP on follow-up patient management
- Lead tumor board
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary oncology teams via the Cancer Center (Greenville, NC)
- Cancer center accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer
- Designated Community Cancer Program
- Facility amenities include:
- 8 infusion chairs + 2 private infusion rooms
- Healing garden
- Patient image renewal areas

- Collaboration with the Multispecialty Clinic (primary care, specialties, imaging, lab, ECHO, sleep lab)
