Hematology/Oncology Physician Job – Kinston, North Carolina
Licenses & Qualifications
- Board Eligible / Board Certified Hematology-Oncology — REQUIRED
- Fellowship trained — REQUIRED
- Join a growing 9-hospital, physician-led healthcare system
- Established team: 3 physicians + 3 advanced practice providers
- Strong referral base
- Setting: Inpatient & outpatient Hem/Onc care
- Ability to practice general community oncology
- Support from multidisciplinary cancer teams in Greenville, NC
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Shared call model
- Develop treatment plans for newly diagnosed oncology/hematology patients
- Chemotherapy oversight
- Supervise APPs managing follow-up patients
- Participate in tumor boards
- Inpatient rounding at the local hospital
- Provide coverage for patients in Kinston, NC + satellite clinic in Richlands, NC
- Infusion suite with 12 infusion spaces
- 10 exam rooms
- Experienced oncology nurses & nurse navigators
- On-site Radiation Oncology services
