Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
• Outpatient Medical Oncology position with potential for permanent placement (Locum to Perm) • Start date of March 2026 with coverage needed through March 2027 • Practice split of 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology • See approximately 30 patients per day in outpatient setting • Manage adult and geriatric patient populations • Participate in tumor board meetings • Manage bone marrow transplants • Perform bone marrow biopsies • Manage VAD/CV catheters • Order tests, imaging, and prescribe medications • Work with blood bank services • Collaborate with nurse oncologists for chemotherapy administration • Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system • Board Certification required • Active Indiana medical license required (60-day credentialing with IN license; 90 days without) • BLS certification required • Reimbursement provided for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rate
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
