About the Role

Reid Health is seeking a board-certified Hematology & Oncology physician for a long-term locum assignment beginning January 2026. The ideal provider can commit to 3 weeks per month plus call, with full-time availability strongly preferred.
Providers with only 1–2 weeks of monthly availability should not be submitted.

This role includes outpatient clinic care, hospital consults, and rotating call coverage within a collaborative team of physicians and APPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Hematology/Oncology care, seeing 18–20 patients per day.

• Perform hospital consults and hospital rounding during call shifts.

• Participate in weekend call rotation (Friday 5 PM – Monday 7 AM).

• Collaborate with APPs and fellow physicians in shared call rotation.

• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation.

• No procedures required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.

• Board Certified in Hematology.

• Board Certified in Oncology.

• Ability to commit to 3 weeks per month or full-time.

• Strong communication and clinical judgment skills.

Compensation & Schedule

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • 1-hour unpaid lunch

  • Overtime applies after 8 hours/day

• Call: Weekend call from Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM on a rotating basis

• Procedures: None required

• Compensation: Competitive locum tenens rates (inquire for details)
