Facility in North Providence, RI seeking HemOnc locums coverage
Rates: $470/hr regular, $650/hr OT and holiday
Opportunity Highlights

Flexible Schedule: This position requires 3 days per week of outpatient clinic work (Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM). It can be for a full-time provider or one who can cover 1-2 weeks per month.

Balanced Workload: Your daily responsibilities include both outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding. The outpatient patient volume is 18-22 patients per day. Inpatient rounding is 1-2 hours per day, depending on consult volume.

Procedures: You will perform biopsies as needed.

Call Rotation: Call is required during the weekdays and for a weekend call rotation.

EMR System: The facility uses a hybrid system that is 80% paper and 20% Meditech.
Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Manage a daily census of 18-22 outpatient patients.

Perform daily inpatient rounding and respond to consults.

Participate in the weekday and weekend call rotation.

Perform biopsies as needed.
Provider Requirements

Board Status: Board-Certified in Hematology/Oncology is required.

Licensure: An active Rhode Island State License and DEA are REQUIRED to apply. The facility is not able to license for this position but will work through emergency privileges.
