Opportunity:
A leading regional cancer program in the Capital Region of New York is seeking a Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to lead its growing team as Medical Director. This position offers an excellent mix of outpatient and inpatient consultative work in a collaborative, well-supported environment with a strong APP and hospitalist infrastructure.

#Position Highlights:
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Setting: Primarily outpatient, with inpatient consults only
Patient Volume:
- Physicians see 15–18 patients per day (option for higher volume if desired)
- APPs see 10–12 patients per day
Inpatient Coverage:
- Average hospital census: 20–30 patients daily
- 1:5 call rotation (transitioning to 1:7 as recruitment expands)
- Hospitalists handle admissions and inpatient APPs manage follow-up care
Afterhours Call: One weeknight block every 5 weeks
Weekend Call: Friday–Sunday every 5 weeks

Guaranteed Annual Base Salary:
- $550,000–$600,000 (Years 1–2)
- $650,000 (Years 3–5)
WRVU Productivity Model (beginning after guaranteed period)
