🩸 Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician – MD | $550/hr (Negotiable) | Travel & Lodging Covered

📅 Coverage & Schedule

• Schedule Options:
  • M-W-F, 8 hr/day
  • OR M-F, 8 hr/day

🏥 Practice Setting & Support

• Outpatient clinic & inpatient call coverage

• Shared space with Radiation Treatment Center

• Team includes Breast Surgeon, Surgical Oncologist, Radiation Oncologists

• Support staff: patient navigator, social worker, medical assistant, practice manager

• No onsite chemo (infusion center located ~2 miles away)

👥 Patient Volumes & Population

• Outpatient Clinic: ≤ 10 patients/day

• Inpatient Call/Rounding: ≤ 2 patients/day

• Adult & geriatric population; Spanish-speaking interpreters available

• Approx. 70–80 patients/week (mostly chronic management, few emergent cases)

📋 Clinical & Procedural Duties

• Administer chemotherapy (intracavitary, intrathecal)

• Perform FNA/biopsy, manage VAD/CV catheters

• Participate in Tumor Board discussions

• Blood bank collaboration, ordering tests/images, prescribing medications

✔️ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology – REQUIRED
✔️ Active MD state license in Maryland – REQUIRED
✔️ Active MD DEA and CDS registration – REQUIRED
✔️ ACLS or BLS registration – REQUIRED
