Serve a 13-county region of over 450,000 people in a comprehensive cancer center that offers chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and hematology/oncology care under one roof. Job Responsibilities
Participate in the development and execution of treatment plans in collaboration with radiation oncologists and support staff
Share equally in a 1:4 call schedule
Collaborate with medical residents and osteopathic students as part of an academic medical environment
Contribute to the continued growth and quality of a regional cancer center
Qualifications
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
Eligible for medical licensure in Alabama
Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology
Commitment to team-based, high-quality patient care
Working Hours
Monday through Friday schedule with shared 1:4 call
Protected time for outpatient chemotherapy and consultative services
On-site infusion and radiation therapy centers
Skills
Skilled in delivering outpatient chemotherapy and coordinating multi-disciplinary treatment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Adaptable to a fast-paced clinical setting with a strong team environment
Comfortable working in a hospital-based practice with advanced diagnostic tools
