Hematology Oncology Opportunity in Nags Head, NC
A physician-led healthcare system is seeking a board certified or board eligible Hematology Oncology physician to join its growing outpatient cancer program in Nags Head, North Carolina. This is a full-time position in a newly built state-of-the-art cancer center just two blocks from the beach.
Position Highlights:
100% outpatient hematology oncology practice
No inpatient consult service
Shared after-hours and weekend phone call only
New cancer center with 10 infusion chairs, 4 exam rooms, radiation therapy, healing gardens, and dedicated space for community meetings
Collaborative team includes hematology oncologist, radiation oncologist, APPs, oncology-certified nurses, nurse navigator, and integrative medicine provider
Strong referral network with over 30 providers
Accredited by the Commission on Cancer and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers
Support from a multidisciplinary cancer care team based in Greenville, NC
Monthly tumor boards and bi-monthly breast cancer conferences
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary with negotiable bonus incentives
$100,000 sign-on bonus
