Position: Locum Tenens Medical Oncologist
Facility in Peoria, IL seeking Inpatient Oncology locums coverage
Rates: $560/hr
Position: Locum Tenens Medical Oncologist
Start Date: July 1, 2025
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12-hour shifts starting at 7:30 AM
Shifts per Month: Approximately 15
Setting: Hospital-based
Support: APP on-site; PRN Medical Oncologist available one week per month
EMR: EPIC
Privileges: Full or Temporary available
Estimated Credentialing Time: 60 days
Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive patient care including consultations, admissions, and follow-up management

Conduct hospital rounds as needed

Collaborate with in-practice APP for consults, orders, and patient care planning
Coordinate with the broader cancer care team for continuity of treatment

Cover when the PRN Medical Oncologist is off-site
Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology

Active Illinois medical license OR IMLC
-
DEA with Schedule II authority
-
ACLS certified\
-
Minimum 1 year of experience
