**Internal Medicine - Hematology/Oncology Opportunity**
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a **Hematologist/Oncologist** to join our team. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with office hours from **8:00 AM to 4:00 PM**. There may be occasional travel to an outlying office in **Somerset** (approximately 30 minutes from the main campus) two days a week, though this is not required for all providers.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform hospital rounds and consults on assigned weeks
- Conduct hospital rounds/consults on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), with **4 hours per day of onsite work**
- Oversee APPs (Advanced Practice Providers)
- Handle after-hours call as needed for clinic critical values or urgent patient matters (no need to return to clinic or hospital)
- No hospital admissions; our team operates as a consulting service only
**Locums-to-Perm candidates are highly preferred.**
**Practice Highlights:**
- Recently relocated to a modern facility, which houses multiple medical practices and services
- Full-spectrum cancer care with a nurse navigator program, multiple tumor boards, and nearby radiation oncology services
**Staffing includes:**
- 6 Infusion RNs for 16 chairs
- 3 RN navigators
- 2 RN oral chemotherapy navigators
- 1 inpatient APP for hospital patients
- 1 outpatient APP for office patients
- 3 MOAs to assist with patient rooming
**Requirements:**
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Pennsylvania medical license
