At the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, you’ll join a dedicated team of five full-time attending physicians with esteemed faculty appointments at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and serve as an influential leader in an academic-rich, collaborative ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities

Work alongside fellows in our robust fellowship program, sharing expertise and fostering medical excellence. As a vital member of our comprehensive care program, you’ll impact lives while advancing your career within a world-class setting which features a modern 13-station infusion center that provides state-of-the-art cancer treatments. Engage in tumor boards, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and facilitate meaningful decision-making processes that positively affect our patients. Furthermore, you will participate in our active clinical trial program, contributing to groundbreaking advancements driving innovative treatments and therapies for our nation's veterans.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• M.D. or D.O. (Schools of Medicine Accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education or Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association). Foreign medical graduates must be verified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
• Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Completed Residency Training.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/ Oncology.
• Recent or upcoming new grads welcomed!

Working Hours

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am-4:30pm (flexibility available for negotiation)
