Location: East Iowa, Located 50 minutes from the Quad Cities, an hour from Dubuque, just under 3 hours from Chicago, 1.5 hours from Cedar Rapids and 3 hours from Des Moines

Facility:
  • A faith-based, full-service community health system serving residents in eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois.
  • Provides a broad range of services to meet the health care needs of residents in the bi-state area.
  • Operates 163 licensed beds
Opportunity:
  • April 22-26
  • April 29 - May 3
  • Ongoing dates TBD
  • No weekends, no call!
  • 100% Outpatient coverage, addressing critical labs (hospitalists manage inpatients)
  • Patient population; adult and geriatric
  • 70% oncology, 30% hematology, 0% IM
  • 20 patients per day
  • Trauma level 3
  • EMR: Cerner (Epic FY24)
  • Required procedures: management of VAD/CV catheters, order tests, order images, prescribe meds
  • Administration of chemotherapy: nurse oncologist; Admission of patients: Hospitalists

Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
